Although this was a very small meet this past weekend, all of the Aquarians swimmers swam so well. Not only were the kids making myself (the coach) proud, but all the parents too! Marshaling for the kids events was not even close to having any problems all the swimmers were on time and wanting to jump into their race as soon as they could. The boy swimmer for the meet was Cameron Beson. Cameron had a positive attitude before and after every race, including others swims. He took time off 3 out of the 4 swims he swam, 2 of them taking only hundredth’s of a second off, and I know as a swimmer taking those hundredth’s of a second off is hard work and strong dedication before each race. As to the girl swimmer of the meet was Emma O’Toole. She kicked swimmer butt in the two long distance Freestyle events, which she was nervous for at first then had such amazing strong swims, as well had 3 or 4 personal bests In all her swims. She was on the side lines cheering loud for all the rest of the swimmers and even smiled throughout her race of breaststroke when her goggles  fell off. As to the rest of the swimmers, they all placed great with some medals and several ribbons at the end of the meet! I’m so proud to have noticed the hard work in the technical areas of swimming, each stroke was swam to the best of their abilities and really showed in this past weekend.
